Bookmarks for April 28th through May 2nd

In order to share what I’ve found to be useful/interesting/etc. while browsing around below are my links for April 28th through May 2nd. You can find my full set of bookmarks at my Delicious account.

  • Fortune Magazine Covers – 1940s and 50s – A great selection of old Fortune covers from the middle of the century. It's amazing sometimes that looking back magazines were designed better decades ago than they are today.
  • Socialthing for Websites – An interesting link passed along by @digitalize that seems to allow for some pretty tight integration with AIM, Twitter, etc. They don't have a demo posted but it could be quite the solution judging by the few screenshots. *crosses fingers for comprehensive media solution*
  • Tim Berners-Lee on the next Web – Video on TED.com – Raw data now! That's the model that Berners-Lee presents in this Ted talk from 2009. The possibilities that this type of data dispersal holds are tremendous. His example of medical use is particularly powerful.
