I thought it was an interesting, if imperfect, read.

All I’ve done is zip the index.php file. Should I be doing something else?

Cheers

Comment on Passionately Angry People by Luc De Brouwer http://andrewspittle.com/2013/07/03/passionately-angry-people/#comment-586 Thu, 04 Jul 2013 05:06:57 +0000 http://andrewspittle.net/?p=9335#comment-586 Great post and great insight! The last sentence really is spot on.

I normally schedule Sunday morning for plugin support and in some cases I get some very upset emails from people why I haven’t answered their email from the Tuesday before that yet. And I’ve had death threads from ‘passionately infuriated’ people. But my golden rule has always been, everybody gets a reply.

Now if there only was a better way of showing/explaining to people that a current problem is not caused by your plugin but by another, that’d be great ūüėČ

Comment on WordPress link blog plugin by Andrew Spittle http://andrewspittle.com/2011/01/14/link-blog-plugin/#comment-171 Sun, 05 May 2013 15:11:13 +0000 http://andrewspittle.net/?p=3262#comment-171 It’s possible but involves a bit of template editing. It’s been a long while since I used the plugin myself.

It might be better to use the built-in link post format that WordPress includes. Post formats didn’t exist when I initially wrote this plugin.

Thanks for putting this together.

The one question I have, and I may be a little dense, relates to the post title and the permalink of my blog.

For instance, I see that the post title links to the external site I’m trying to link to, but I can’t actually preserve the permalink on my own site.

Is this possible in the plugin?

Thanks,
Derek
