That’s from a lovely interview with Yancey Strickler. It matches how I’ve viewed blogging since getting back into the habit last year. I turned off all analytics and just write, for myself. For me, blogging is at its best when it feels like an open, public journal.
Manu, who runs that interview series and the very fun blogroll.org site, is doing excellent work to support the open web. I’ve found many creative, individual voices to follow via his projects and recommend his Dealgorithmed newsletter, too.
