I finally picked up a new pair of running shoes and am giving a barefoot pair a shot. Went with the Merrell Trail Glove. First run this afternoon in them was great. Related protip, don’t go 14 months between running shoe purchases.

First full day in Amsterdam and it is absolutely pouring rain. We went to see the Anne Frank house this morning and came back drenched. Of course it’s 80 degrees and sunny in Portland.

Original plan this morning was to hike Table Mountain with Daniel and Leah. The weather prevented that, though, so the backup plan was raspberry pancakes with vanilla ice cream. Yum.

Just used Find My iPhone to find a lost Hanni who had mistakenly taken my phone on a half marathon run. Win.
